It was a night full of snubs and shock wins as stars gathered to celebrate another year of the British small screen at the BAFTA TV Awards on Sunday.
Taking place at The Royal Festival Hall in London, Happy Valley's Sarah Lancashire scooped the Leading Actress Award for her iconic role as Sergeant Catherine Cawood in the BBC's Happy Valley.
But in a shock, Netflix's The Crown left empty handed despite leading the pack ahead of the ceremony with eight nods - including Elizabeth Debicki, who missed out on the Best Supporting Actress gong for her portrayal of Princess Diana.
Top Boy star Jasmine Jobson picked up the award instead for her role as Jaq in the gritty Netflix drug dealing series - which also beat out favourite Happy Valley, The Gold and Slow Horses to clinch the Drama Series award.
Elsewhere Timothy Spall won for Best Actor Award on the night for his role in The Sixth Commandment, with Matthew Macfadyen winning the Best Supporting Actor gong for his role in the hugely-popular series Succession. However he was not there in person to collect the award.
